Visit Pokemon GO: Johto – What’s the difference between a gold ticket and a silver ticket?

A lot of Pokemon GO Fans especially remember the Kanto event that helped kick off 2021. At the end of February, fans joined in. Pokemon GO Tour: Kanto, an event in which Pokemon from the first generation appear in mass, celebrates the first 150 monsters to join the franchise. Not only has their availability increased, it has also become easier to find Shiny versions of these Pokemon, and the event also adds many new Shinies to the game. Pokemon GO will do the same in 2022 with Pokemon GO Tour: Johto next February.

VIDEO GAME OF THE DAY

Just like its predecessor, Pokemon GO Tour: Johto will bring Pokemon of the typical region to the top. For anyone buying tickets to the event, Pokemon Johto will spawn in the wild and hatch from Eggs more often, and it’ll be easier to find Shiny Pokemon for a while. Pokemon GO Tour: Johto shares another feature with Kanto, which is that two tickets are available. Kanto tickets come in Red and Blue versions, while Johto events come in Gold and Silver versions. Players should consider the differences between these two versions and consider which version will give them the experience they want the most.

At their core, Gold and Silver Pokemon GO Tickets to the event are largely the same. Both share a long list of event day benefits. Anyone holding a ticket will receive a Special Research quest line containing Celebi, earn Bonus Candy from Pokemon, get tons of Bonus Raid Cards from Gyms and more. The difference between the tickets is that each ticket focuses on a specific number of Johto Pokemon for either Gold Pokemon or Silver when those games come out. The two tickets also feature different listings of the usual Shiny Pokemon.

Pokemon GO Players who buy Golden tickets will see Gold Pokemon-exclusive monsters more often when using Incense: Spinarak, Gligar, Teddiursa and Mantine. The Golden Ticket also makes these Pokemon and Johto starters appear as Shinies more often, as do Igglybuff, Natu, Hoppip, Sunkern, Misdreavus, Wobbuffet, Shuckle, Swinub, and Ho-Oh. Better odds at Shiny Ho-Oh Definitely hard to switch over.

The Silver Ticket also has a lot to offer. After Silver Pokemon Ticket holders: Ledyba, Delibird, Skarmory and Phanpy will be included in Incense. Silver ticket holders are also more likely to see these Pokemon and those who started Johto like Shinies. Cleffa, Sudowoodo, Hoppip, Yanma, Pineco, Houndour, Miltank, Larvitar and Lugia are also likely to appear as Shinies. Whichever one? Pokemon GO fans decide to buy, they will gain a lot.

Players have a few months to decide which ticket they want, but Niantic is encouraging early adopters by offers Unique Research to anyone who has one GO Tour: Tickets to Johto in January and February 2022. Players need to choose wisely; they will not be able to convert the version of the ticket once purchased.

Great to see GO Travel events will return with two attractive services. With any luck, this means Pokemon GO fans will be able to look forward to the Tour for Hoenn and Sinnoh in the coming years, bringing in even more Shiny Pokemon from those regions. Two versions of Pokemon GO Tour: Johto’s tickets are not the first of their kind, and hopefully they won’t be the last.
