Virginia Giuffre Is Suing Prince Andrew For Sexual Abuse

Virginia Roberts Giuffre has filed a lawsuit against Prince Andrew below allegations of sexual abuse.

Filed in Manhattan below New York’s Youngster Victims Act, Giuffre alleges that she was trafficked by convicted intercourse offender Jeffrey Epstein on three events to have intercourse with Prince Andrew when she was below 18.

In line with the Guardian, Prince Andrew and Epstein first met in 1999. In a statement following today’s lawsuit, Giuffre stated, “I’m holding Prince Andrew accountable for what he did to me. I hope that different victims will see that it’s potential to not stay in silence and concern, however one can reclaim her life by talking out and demanding justice.”

Giuffre went on to clarify that she “didn’t come to this choice flippantly” and that she expects to obtain “additional assaults by Prince Andrew and his surrogates.”

Giuffre is looking for unspecified “compensatory and punitive damages” from the prince within the lawsuit.
