Few things annoy a gamer more than trying to show someone a trick in a video game, but fail to do it in front of them. The embargo grows exponentially as the same person tries the trick and succeeds almost immediately. This is exactly the case for streamer Mizkif, who couldn’t do a famous shortcut in Super Mario 64– that is, until fellow streamer Emiru gets his hands on the controller.

Super Mario 64 is a third of the Super Mario 3D All-Stars, which also contains the year 2002 Super Mario Sunshine as well as 2007 Super Mario Galaxy. The root of controversy behind the title is mainly its limited release time, with the game only going on sale from September 2020 to March 2021. Super Mario 3D All-Stars’ recent update adds support for Nintendo 64 . controllers, providing a much more realistic experience.

After trying a few times without success, Mizkif frustratedly handed the remote over to Emiru. The hilarious video represents an all-too-fun moment for many gamers, and also a positive sign that Mizkif is back in streaming. Back in September Mizkif announces he will be on an extended hiatus following his public breakup with another streamer, Maya. Mizkif released a video of his situation at the time and he is not in the mental or emotional state to continue streaming because of the things related to his and Maya’s relationship ending and she moved out.

While it certainly looks like Mizkif has some skills to hone in before making the long jump stairs glitch into a speed runner, popular Twitch streamer and Liam recently beat his own Super Mario 64 speed record. The famous speedster won all 120 stars in the game and beat the final incarnation of Bowser in an astonishing 1:37:53, breaking the previous record of 1:38:13, also recently set up by Liam.
