There’s no denying that controllers are an integral part of the console gaming experience as they connect players to the game they’re playing. However, it is debatable as to the best method to connect these peripherals to a gaming system. For years, players debated whether a wireless or wired gaming connection is the advanced way of playing.

While much of this debate comes down to personal preference, there are reasons to use both types of connections. For example, wireless connectivity is less restrictive, allowing players to move freely without running out of cables. The wired controller, on the other hand, doesn’t require charging, meaning extended gaming sessions should be no problem. Also, some people claim that wired controllers are supposed to reduce input lag. Recently, a PlayStation players have come up with a new and compelling reason to use a wired connection when gaming.

In a Reddit post, a user named waterproof77 shared a video of themselves playing the game with a wired PS4 controller. What makes this clip stand out is a pair of white and gray birds perched on top of the cable. They stay on the wire, looking perfect as the content when the Reddit user holds the controller in his hand. Interestingly, the gamepad piqued the curiosity of the bird located closer to the camera. When the gamer was filming, the bird was moving in a straight line, towards the controller. “Always play wired,” quipped Reddit user.

Since waterproof77 posted this video of these birds playing on a wired PS4 controller, a lot member of the PlayStation community on Reddit noticed. With over 1,200 upvotes in less than a day, many were surprised to see a video like this on Reddit. In addition, some agree that this clip makes a compelling argument to change to a wired connection when playing games. One person in the comments section said: “Seen the title? Sounds mocking. Watch the video? Sell immediately,” said one person in the comments section. However, one gamer commented that they could never try this game because they have cats.

Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time an animal has made game news. Besides these birds playing on a wired PS4 controller, another player found a Fly stuck inside power button on their Xbox console a few months ago. In addition, many videos of cats and dogs reacting to video games have been posted on social media over the years. Time will tell as more wildlife and video game clips are shared with the gaming community in the coming days.
