Before the fall, sister-in-law duo Veronica Swanson Beard and Veronica Miele Beard approached the season with a flexible, buy-now-wear-now mindset.
During a showcase for their collection, both the co-founders and co-designers noted the importance of their burgeoning footwear and denim businesses.
“Our denim business has become huge for us, jeans now make up about 30% of our business and we are the top three denim brands with all our partners, “Swanson Beard noted.
Suiting, too, continues to play an important role in the collection along with transition layers to engage their clientele.
A look: Versatile day-to-night wardrobe with the brand’s signature femininity combined with functional élan.
Quote notes: “Before autumn, it’s June/July and what we’ve learned in the last 18 months is that buy now, wear now is very important, especially for our customers. Find out these shoulder seasons, their importance in wardrobe building – there’s newness and balance with classic. We’re super excited about this collection – lots of print mixes, redux vintage silhouettes, multimedia jackets.… Everything with the thought of being able to wear it in the summer and let it have a lifetime. live forward,” Swanson Beard told WWD.
Main parts: An olive military jacket with sharp shoulders, styled over a printed blouse and patterned handkerchief skirt; a brown leather moto jacket (which the brand says it hasn’t offered in a couple of seasons) with matching leather pants; novelty and transitional, mixed jackets (like a cropped denim jacket with a removable plaid blazer); easy skirts with ruched details and light, transitional knits; a well-cut dress consisting of a black t-shirt paired with a camel utility midi skirt.

Beyond pre-fall, the brand is focusing on future store openings in 2022 and the “Make It Happen” initiative. starting in September.
“We are working to expand throughout the year; All of our store openings will be held during events for ‘Make It Happen.’. Bringing community wherever we go with doers and advocates who are living the brand, but also living their brand,” explains Swanson Beard.
