Venezuelan musicians set record for world’s largest orchestra
The network of orchestras known as El Sistema, or The System, brought together about 12,000 musicians for the concert. The repertoire includes “Venezuela” by Pablo Herrero and Jose Luis Armenteros, the national anthem of the South American country, and “Alma Llanera” by Pedro Gutierrez, which Venezuelans consider their unofficial anthem.
