Velocity Gaming has joined competitive BGMI
Velocity Gaming enters the competitive BGMI scene with a new lineup, marking their presence on two current eSports titles, Valorant and Battlegrounds Mobile India. This is also their third eSports roster, followed by their main Valorant roster and an all-female Valorant team operating under the banner of VLT Asteria.
Their BGMI roster is made up of the former Team IND quartet, who are widely regarded as some of the best players in the country. The BGMI VLT lineup along with their respective roles are as follows:
-
Raj “Snax” Varma – Assaulter, Sniper
-
Randeep “Attanki” Singh Bhullar – Assaulter
-
Daljit “Daljitsk” Singh – Sniper
-
Samir “Kratos” Choubey – IGL (In-Game Leader, Captain)
This roster together, under the banner of Team Snax, was able to take first place at the BGMI Launch Party in July, winning INR 3,30,000 in prize money through four chicken dinners over six matches.
This is the first official BGMI tournament, organized by Krafton and Trinity Gaming to celebrate the game’s launch. Team Snax is clearly focused on dominating the tournament and walking away as the decisive winner.
Unfortunately, the team has not been able to repeat the same level of success, as victory has consistently eluded them in every tournament since.
Talking about their future, VLT’s team is currently focusing on conquering the upcoming BGIS 2021, with a total prize pool of INR 1,00,00,000. It will be interesting to see how well the roster performs in this tournament, as it will be their first BGMI event under the banner of Velocity Gaming.
