Vanguard Player instructs how to kill Flamenauts easily

Call of Duty: Vanguard fans share a taming trick to take down the Flamenauts in no time, making the killing spree a lot less scary.

Call of Duty: Vanguard there are many good killstreaks out there, although some are definitely stronger than others. For example, one of the more powerful killstreaks available is the Flamenaut – though Call of Duty: Vanguard players have discovered a way to instantly access the players who are using it.

While some Call of Duty: Vanguard killstreaks causing visual problems or counterproductive to their users, Flamenaut’s greatest strength is that players in suits are difficult to take down. While the flamethrower equipped when using the armor requires the player to get close, the Juggernaut suit provides too much protection so it doesn’t really matter. Furthermore, it is difficult to tell when someone in a Flamenaut suit has low health left, so players can avoid shooting altogether and simply run away instead.

However, a Call of Duty: Vanguard player seems to have found the Flamenaut’s weak point. While one would expect a Sniper Rifle or Sniper Rifle to be the weapon needed to take down the Flamenaut, no gun is used in the clip. Instead, the player simply equips the bayonet to the end of the weapon of his choice. Reddit user Inning pointed out that the Flamenauts are uncanny with this sword, with a single hit from a melee attack knocking down wielders of the sword.

With Call of Duty: VanguardDrop dead error making Flamenauts more popular than usual, this bayonet trick can be a necessary evil for players. While dealing with Flamenaut users can seem frustrating, as 9 killstreaks can be wasted if they are stabbed before dealing some damage, the move is not free for bayonets. Flamenauts self-destruct when they die, and melee attacks will put the player within range of the deadly explosion. As such, they would sacrifice themselves to save their comrades from being burned alive.

Given the terrifying bayonet trick, it might not have been Sledgehammer Games’ intention. Call of Duty: Vanguardbayonet of was called broken by the game’s community because the attachment allowed the player to get melee kills from ridiculous ranges. With the bayonet already on Sledgehammer’s radar for its ridiculous ranged kills, the developer will likely soon find out that it’s also killing Flamenauts.

With the bayonet trick that can soon be nerfed, players should take advantage of it when possible. With Face Off mode is highly requested currently unavailable, bayonet will generate one of the Call of Duty: VanguardKillstreaks are less of a hassle for people who get tired of seeing them in use.
