Vanguard Nov 18 Nerfs Shotguns Update

After the previous release in November, Sledgehammer Games continues to hold Call of Duty Vanguard updated not only with new content, but also updated with fixes for many issues that have arisen. After switching to a direct service model a few years ago, Call of Duty The game has continued to roll out new updates as well as seasonal packages and updates that the player can get from the in-game market.

Similar to Call of Duty the game before it, Vanguard was not perfect at launch, launching with some player-identified bugs and glitches. In fact, this latest update comes right after two previous game updates posted earlier this week, one of which saw the return of the map. The shipment keeps its long history with Call of Duty Franchising intact. Overall, though, the November 17 update is relatively minor compared to the latest update that addresses many issues.

The latest update for November 18 brings a nerf for shotgun class weapons, a problem that many Call of Duty Vanguard players have voiced their disappointment about. Adjustments have been made to the ADS spead, or bloom, base weapon with no attachments. Additionally, Sledgehammer has struck a balance across all shotgun-class weapons with adjustable range, pellet spread, shotgun penalties, and more.

Call of Duty Vanguard Players participating in the Search and Destroy playlist have also faced a nasty glitch since launch where the attacking team can easily get information about their opponents. Once the attackers have planted the bomb, additional information is provided showing when a defensive player is defusing the bomb. With this update, this glitch has been fixed.

NS Zombies mode full of malice in Call of Duty Vanguard also received some bug fixes in this update. The patch addresses an Exfil issue where, even after a failed attempt, the player could still interact with the Exfil portal. Additionally, the Legendary Covenant will now appear as expected for all players.

Not mentioned in the patch notes is the occurrence of a dual XP event on all platforms. Over the weekend, players could earn double XP in all areas of the game including Account XP, Weapon XP, Operator XP, Passing XP and Clan XP.

Here are the full November 18 patch notes:
