Vanguard Glitch gets a free 1911 pistol with unlimited ammo

One odd glitch of Call of Duty: Vanguard was giving out endless magazines of the 1911 pistol, although this exploit is useless when played online.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Fans have discovered their fair share of weird bugs and tricks in the weeks since its release. A new 1911 bug seems to be the scariest, but Call of Duty: Vanguard fans don’t need to worry about it ruining multiplayer games.

The fact that the 1911 infinity bullet bug is useless is good news, as fans have faced some more glitches and troubles. For example, players were able to fly into the sky or use hiding spots they couldn’t get into Call of Duty: Vanguardthe map of. Furthermore, an off-map glitch is ruining the Sub Pens experience, as players can sit in a spawn and kill enemies while lurking in the ceiling. While the 1911 glitch won’t cause any major problems, it’s still interesting to see, especially given the damage it could do if the fault were more severe.

While the 1911 is one of the best picks when it comes to the game’s pistols, the infinity bullet version does no damage when fired. Bullet holes can be seen in structures shot by Redditor hallmonitor53, the player found the bug, but the bullets do not affect other players. NS Call of Duty: Vanguard malfunction in question, implementation is surprisingly easy, with players only needing to do 1911’s full auto to access the recharge magazines.

After the player has added all attachments automatically through Call of Duty: Vanguardgun maker, they simply empty the magazine and switch the weapon to single fire. Once done, the gun would continuously reload right after firing a shot, making the game seem confusing due to the changed pistol’s full auto state. As the player has shown, the crash can be aborted by taking the weapon out of one shot and making the gun fully automatic again, although that’s certainly a strange sight.

As mentioned in the title of the post, Call of Duty: Vanguard player will run into another weird problem if they trigger the error. Specifically, frag grenades will not explode no matter how long they are held. The player pulls the pin in the clip and holds the dynamite for about ten seconds, which would normally result in a suicide explosion. Instead, the grenade never explodes, the player must give it up and put it away.

While this bug won’t crash any matches, hopefully developer Sledgehammer Games will address it soon. For any player who accidentally switched from 1911 full auto to single shot in Call of Duty: Vanguard Multiplayer, they may be confused by the incident and may end up receiving a frustrating death because of it.

Call of Duty: Vanguard currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
