Users can choose between different versions of Twitter: Elon Musk – National

Twitter users will be able to choose a version of the social media platform they like by giving ratings to their tweets, Elon Musk, the company’s new owner, said in a tweet on Saturday.

“It’s probably better to be able to choose which version of Twitter you want, similar to a cinematic rating,” he said.

“The rating of the tweet itself could be self-selected and then modified by user feedback,” he added.

Musk tweeted Friday that Twitter will form a Content Moderation Council “with very different viewpoints.” No major content decisions or account restorations will take place before the council convenes, he added.
