In an announcement to the AP, the Saudi Protection Ministry described the dominion’s relationship with the U.S. as “robust, longstanding and historic” even whereas acknowledging the withdrawal of the American missile protection programs. It stated the Saudi navy “is able to defending its lands, seas and airspace, and defending its individuals.”
