Upset released a statement on the release date at Worlds 2021: ‘I have always been transparent about the severity of the suffering my family has to go through’

Fnatic AD carry Upset sheds light on the current situation surrounding his departure from the team this year League of Legends World champion in a statement released on his personal Twitter account earlier today.
“During the Worlds, I made the difficult decision to return home due to a serious personal situation that required my immediate attention,” Upset said. “This has certainly been extremely difficult for everyone involved – my teammates, our leadership, as well as our fans – and I will forever be grateful for your understanding. know and support given to me by the organization, management, and much of the team during that time. ”
Last month, in League World Champion, Upset returns home due to a personal matter just hours before his team’s first game of the tournament. Fnatic was forced to bring in Bean, a rookie AD carry, in place of Upset.
Earlier this week, former Fnatic top laner Adam revealed the details of why he left the team after the 2021 season, claiming that Upset had “absolutely no reason” in his decision to return home due to a family issue before the tournament.
Adam also stated that Upset tried to replace him in Fnatic behind his back by recruiting Team Liquid top laner Alphari to join the team for the 2022 season. Adam joins LEC’s new BDS Team in 2022, according to a report by Jacob Wolf of Dot Esports.
“Some things are so terrible that they warrant this level of secrecy, and I have never had or would violate the privacy of my loved ones,” Upset said in response today.
Adam also claimed that Upset “only left to join his girlfriend because she felt bad being alone” and that Upset “didn’t tell anyone the exact reason for his departure.” .” Earlier this year, Upset revealed on Twitter that he got married a few weeks before the start of this year’s LEC Summer Qualifiers.
“Within two weeks, there were two meetings where I expressed to the team that I was dealing with serious family issues that had impacted me deeply,” Upset said. “Just the night before I left, the situation at home became much worse, leaving me with no choice but to leave. I have always been transparent about the severity of the suffering my family has gone through.”
Upset missed the entire run of Fnatic’s Worlds. The team finished with a 1-5 record at the event. Upset will return to Fnatic in 2022, according to his statement, but the full 2022 roster of the team has yet to be released by the organization following the official departures of Adam and jungler Bwipo.
