Upgraded Nvidia DLSS Won’t Work With Steam Deck

While Nvidia’s Deep Learning Super Sampling is a big part of the game these days, it won’t show up on the Steam Deck, but there’s a reason.

Upscaling is fast becoming the industry standard in modern AAA gaming, if it isn’t already. Nvidia and AMD have their own versions of which Intel is working on one for its upcoming series of GPUs, although the “team green” algorithm is probably the more popular one. While the Valve device was originally slated to launch in December, it was recently announced that Steam Deck has been delayed for two months, which means it is slated to launch in February 2022. The stated reason for the delay is the global supply chain, since there is something lacking in the tech world at the moment, which has It’s probably inevitable.


All in all, this device is becoming something that many people are excited about. With video footage showing Devil May Cry 5 runs smoothly on Steam Deck, this could very well be the mobile PC suite that many have been waiting for. Despite the delay, it looks positive for Valve’s new hardware, and it could open up possibilities for more mobile devices in the future.
