Dying Light 2 1.4.2 update explained
One of the biggest problems that is plagued dying light 2 since its inception in February 2022, it has been its fast travel system. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the surface dying light 2‘s fast travel mechanic, players simply have to select a point on the map and tap the button to be transported there, and if there are no enemies around, they will be transported in just a few seconds – standard open world RPG stuff . In practice however dying light 2The fast travel system of has been plagued with technical problems for quite some time.
The most common issue would be that under certain circumstances, the game just won’t let the player fast travel where they should otherwise be able to. For example, when they were in a certain section of the map or certain NPCs were nearby. dying light 2‘s 1.4.2 update finally fixes this, and fast travel should now work exactly as it was always intended. However, the patch notes mention that Techland is still working on improving the player’s fast travel experience, so more changes may be on the way.
Another area in which dying light 2 had some serious technical issues in the co-op department. When playing in co-op mode, players would often get disconnected or their game would crash in certain scenarios. This update fixed the specific co-op crash state caused by players using stab follow-up skills. Fixed a few achievement/trophy issues as well, specifically related to the achievements “Street Art Aficianado” and “Find Everything Interesting?”.
dying light 2The 1.4.2 update also made some intriguing changes to some infected stats. Tyrant Volatiles, for example, are made slightly stronger, and Special Infected types generally get a boost to their resistance to certain types of damage. Special infected types, marked with an orange marker, should now also drop mutation samples, which are required for certain quest lines that have been added since the game was first launched. dying light 2The 1.4.2 update also tweaked some other minor elements of the game such as: B. Resolving a soft lock during a parkour challenge and allowing players to carry their Chapter 1 outfits over to New Game Plus.
