Unknown Worlds’ next game is “Project M”, to be released in Early Access in 2022

Subnautica developer Unknown Worlds is working on its next game, which was revealed in the parent company’s recent financial report. As discovered by PC Gamer‘USA project‘as it currently has a codename, is a sci-fi-themed turn-based strategy game and is scheduled for Early Access… this year.

For fans of Subnautica, the move to a new genre can come as a surprise. However, Unknown Worlds had the idea long before it was revealed USA project as its next game. After release Subnautica: Under ZeroUnknown is about what happened on the horizon. In an interview with our sister site, The Escapist, David Kalina, Subnautica Lead the project, provide some details. He says the team wants its next venture “totally different” from Subnautica. As far as the hop genre is concerned, Unknown doesn’t want to be a “one-donkey horse.”
