PARIS – Universal French natural cosmetics company Beauty Group, known for the brand Végétalement Provence for hair salons and beauty, beauty experts, has raised 6 million euros from a group of investors led by Connect Pro.

Connect Pro, an investment fund based in Marseille, France, was accompanied in this round, signed early Thursday afternoon, with private equity funds BNP Paribas Développement, Étoile Capital and Région fund Sud Investments.

The new funding will help Universal Beauty Group accelerate growth in the thriving natural beauty sector, which is forecast to record annual growth of between 6% and 9% from 2021 to 2027.

“With the support of teams, training academies and logistics facilities, [Universal Beauty Group] is poised to become a major player in the field of alternative cosmetics and beauty,” the group said in a statement.
