U.S. Marshals denied entry to D.C. jail for inspection, judge says

The jail, formally known as the Central Detention Facility (CDF), homes about 1,500 detainees, roughly 1,000 of whom have native felony circumstances in D.C. Superior Courtroom. Many of the others are charged in federal circumstances, and, whereas they’re being held within the city-run CDF, they’re formally within the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
