Twitch Streamer NICKMERCS Says Halo Infinite Is ‘Same Old S***’

Halo Infinite recently released multiplayer a few weeks ahead of schedule. After this unexpected announcement from the developers, many content creators have started playing it. Among those content creators are Twitch Gaming Star NICKMERCS.

As one of the most popular personalities on Twitch, NICKMERCS rakes in thousands of views per broadcast on the platform. Over the years, he has made a name for himself playing countless shooting games such as Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone. Back in that day, he even played Halo at a competitive level. Given the genre’s previous history with the game, it’s no surprise that his viewers want the streamer to give it a try. Halo Infinite.

During the November 16 live stream event, the day after the surprise release of multiplayer, NICKMERCS kicked off Halo Infinite. Join forces with some of his gaming teammates, including Cloakzy, he’s played a number of multiplayer games. While he was happy to play the title, he was not surprised by the gameplay.

The Twitch streamer posted a video on TikTok summarizing his overall impressions of NS Halo Infinite Multiplayer. According to NICKMERCS, Halo Infinite feels like “same old ***.” While acknowledging that the gameplay is “pretty good”, he can’t help but think that something is missing to set it apart from other games in the series. In addition to feeling unlike the original, he also thinks that the aim in the game seems strange.

While these comments from NICKMERCS are disappointing for those who want to see him play a lot Halo Infinite, it should come as no surprise to his fans that he has decided to continue competing Apex Legends instead of, replace. Since he left Call of Duty: Warzone Due to problems with hackers, he became a proponent of Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale campaign. Recently, the famous streamer even achieved Apex Predator for the first time (the highest ranking in the game). After his brief stint in Halo Infinite, NICKMERCS is back to streaming Apex Legends on many occasions.

NICKMERCS isn’t the only streamer who doesn’t love multiplayer in Halo Infinite. Recently, Shroud checked Halo Infinite in a live stream. Despite playing several games in multiplayer, he revealed that he didn’t like the game. However, he admits that he is more excited about the campaign involving Master Chief that will release on December 8.

With the hype all around Halo Infinite at an all-time high following the surprise release of the multiplayer, it will be interesting to see if NICKMERCS’ stance on the game stays the same in the coming months. Right now, he seems satisfied to continue crushing Rank in Apex Legends.
