Twisted Fate player prevents Sion from ending the game with a heroic sacrifice

Bizarre plays and ARAM — It’s hard to name a more iconic duo when it comes to League of Legends.

Due to the unique rules of the game mode, players are often forced to die on purpose and try to make the best out of a bad situation. This leads to many funny moments, like the one posted on Reddit by Vegan-bandit.

In the clip, the player’s team appears to be winning a skirmish under a destroyed enemy turret. However, their opponent only had one player standing. Enemy Sion realizes that the Nexus is defenseless at this point and tries to play heroic using his ultimate (Unstoppable).

However, Twisted Fate made the ultimate sacrifice. Using Fate (R), he teleports in Sion’s way, preventing him from moving forward at the cost of his life.

His team, then, sought to eliminate Sion, avenge the Card Master, and ensure that his sacrifice was not in vain. But in the end, the team sadly lost the match, by op.gg. This proves that sometimes no matter how hard you try, you have to fail League.
