Tundra Esports extends Dota 2 roster until 2024

Tundra Esports has extended the contract with its Dota 2 team through 2024, offering a three-year commitment to all five players. London-based organization emphasize that they have always had a goal of building this roster for the long term and with this new deal they can “Signed one of the longest-running contracts in Dota 2.” Tundra Esports signed this roster in the early days of Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021. The team failed to qualify for The International 10 (TI10) despite their best efforts in the Western European regional qualifiers. (WEU).

Regarding the team’s contract extension, Fata said:
“We were really close to qualifying for The International this year, and we think we’ve got what it takes to get there. The whole team was really excited about pushing ourselves, and Tundra’s support made it a lot easier for us to fully focus on the competition. I am very confident with the support from Tundra we will be able to continue this improvement to reach new heights in the upcoming DPC season and beyond. ”
Tundra Esports signed this team as they were known as “mud.” The team’s 4th place player is Malthe “Biver” Winther later, but he retired midway through the DPC season and Sneyking filled his spot. A stacked WEU region means the team is not delivering the best results in either regional league. The team surprised everyone with a strong performance in the TI qualifiers, but lost to OG in a very close final.
The team is a force to be reckoned with in two third-party events, ESL One Fall 2021 and the OGA Dota PIT Invitational. Tundra Esports has made its mark. Using unique strategies involving the placement of the five Shadow Stalkers and Mid lane Light Keepers, Tundra Esports slaughtered its opponents one after another. The team won ESL One Fall 2021 and placed third at the OGA Dota PIT Invitational.
In preparation for the upcoming DPC season, Fata and his teammates will attend a bootcamp this weekend. Additionally, the organization notes that it has partnered with Adamas Esports to support the holistic development of players both in and out of the game. Tundra Esports will compete in the WEU DPC Upper Division.
