Tucker Carlson Calls Taylor Lorenz, Reporter Revealed Likes Of Tik Tok Creator, A German Stooge

Tucker Carlson on Tuesday night wondered why Taylor Lorenz, the author of a Washington Post early story on Tik Tok’s famous Twitter account Libs, not registered as a foreign agent.

In this piece, the reporter documents the findings from software developer Travis Brown that helped her reveal the account creator, Brooklyn-based real estate agent Chaya Raichik. Specifically, Brown unconcealed deleted tweets from the account, including those in which Raichik claimed she attended the Capitol riots on January 6. Brown, Lorenz noted, received support from the Foundation-based Prototype Foundation. based in Germany. According to the foundation’s website, the fund “supports ideas in civil technology, data literacy, data security and software infrastructure” with funds from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

Carlson claims that the grant proves that “what happened to the woman running Tik Tok’s Libs – her life is being ruined – was not the work of Taylor Lorenz… it was an operation. foreign intelligence operations designed to silence and intimidate an American citizen. ”

Carlson then questioned the legitimacy of Lorenz’s reporting methods and even suggested the Biden administration may have been involved. The Fox News host made particularly scathing comments about Lorenz, a former The Daily Beast tech reporter who has spoken out publicly about how she has led to numerous harassment cases. Among other things, Carlson calls her “a receptacle for information that others collect for their own purposes.”

“And since she is someone who would gladly receive this information from a foreign government designed to destroy an American citizen, why didn’t Taylor Lorenz at least register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act? ” Carlson wondered.

Carlson did not explain exactly how Lorenz, who used public tweets from Brown to support her report, was working on behalf of the German government, Carlson did not elaborate. He just closed his monologue by saying, “There are a lot of questions here.”
