In his book, Meadows writes that Trump was disappointed with some of Kavanaugh’s decisions and the selection of his first Supreme Court, Neil M. Gorsuch, after they were confirmed to the court. Both judges “have ruled in ways that are deeply disappointing to the MAGA movement that made their appointment possible,” Meadows wrote, blaming Gorsuch’s “established” relationship and Kavanaugh.
