Trump sells controversial hotel in Washington for $375 million

According to people familiar with the matter, Donald Trump’s family hotel company has reached an agreement to sell the rights to the glittering Washington, D.C. hotel for $375 million.

CGI Merchant Group, a Miami-based investment firm, is signing a hotel acquisition deal for the Trump International Hotel, located a short walk from the White House down Pennsylvania Avenue. CGI intends to remove Trump’s name and has reached an agreement with Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc.
