Trinamool leadership strategises on uniting opposition parties

On the Pegasus issue, Mamata Banerjee said: “We must fight together against the tyranny of the BJP, and against Pegasus. The BJP’s authoritarian and snooping attitude is an attempt to silence people’s voices. If our voice and basic rights are lost, everything is lost.”

She said that if the government is not behind the snooping, they should take action against Pegasus. “All organs have been converted into different forms of Pegasus. The BJP does not trust its own ministers and RSS. Their phones were also tapped,” she said.

Banerjee also said that she held a closed-door meeting with Kishor, party general secretary Abhishek Banerjee and party chairman Subrata Bakshi before the West Bengal parliamentary elections and even that meeting was spied on. | Trinamool leadership strategises on uniting opposition parties
