TRENTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — Twister watches and warnings have been issued for components of the Tri-State Space as remnants of Ida blow in with extreme climate.
In New Jersey, a twister warning is in impact in Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties till 6:45 p.m., and a twister warning for Hunterdon, Mercer and Somerset counties is about to run out at 7 p.m.
The twister watch will probably be in impact till 10 p.m. Wednesday for the next counties: Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape Might, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Occean, Salem, Somerset and Warren.
A twister watch can be in impact in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union counties till 1 a.m. Thursday.
In New York, a twister watch is in impact till 1 a.m. Thursday for all 5 boroughs, plus Lengthy Island and Westchester County.
A twister watch can be in impact till 1 a.m. Thursday for Fairfield, Middlesex, New Haven and New London counties in Connecticut.
