Tornado, Lightning, and Flare Gun Added to Fortnite in Update v19.01

It’s not just enemy players and wild animals attacking you in Fortnite The current. Elements is joining after the 11/1 update.
The new one update Introduces weather storms into the massive battle royale, with towering tornadoes and deadly lightning bolts now raging across the map. But tornadoes aren’t as deadly as they initially imagined: They can actually help you considerably.
Players will not take any damage when they are sucked in and ejected by the tornado. You can even control when you exit the twister. You can’t stay in it forever, it will definitely spit you out, but you won’t take damage on landing after gliding. The addition of tornadoes coincides with the start of Tornado Week in the game. Players have a higher chance of encountering them this week, which runs until January 17 at 8 a.m. CT.
Lightning can hurt you, but even those lightnings provide Fortnite player with a small gain. Attacks will deal a small amount of damage and start a small fire, but the player hit will gain a temporary speed boost. Just like in real life, you are more susceptible to lightning strikes if you are in water or at a high point. To be on the safe side, we must remind you not to try any of these things in real life.
Finally, the Flare Gun has not been improved, providing players with a new weapon that can spread fire along with the Firefly Jar. Flare Guns can be obtained from chests, loot on the floor, and drop supplies. While tornadoes and lightning are not included in competitive games, Flare Guns are being evaluated (along with Shield Kegs) for inclusion in competitive games.
