Top UAE adviser makes rare trip to Iran amid nuclear talks
Sheikh Tahnoon, wearing his signature navy blue frock coat, black vest and aviator glasses, first met Ali Shamkhani, the head of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council. The two men smiled and shook hands with journalists before their meeting, a large map of Iran and the Persian Gulf looming behind them, with only a small portion of the Emirates visible on it.
