Tom Holland and Jamie Foxx promote tickets for Spider-Man: No Way Home

Advanced tickets for Spider-Man: No Way Home will go on sale, and stars Tom Holland and Jamie Foxx remind fans to buy them on “Spider Monday.”
Advanced ticket for Spider-Man: There’s no way home currently available for purchase. While Sony Pictures announced almost a week in advance when tickets would go on sale, as a last-ditch effort to remind fans and boost ticket sales, the studio released a hilarious clip of Tom Holland and Jamie Foxx on Sunday. With the Cyber Monday ticket sale, it seems like the perfect term for the actors to play with.
After more than two years, Holland’s Spider-Man will return to the big screen in an indie film. But, Spider-Man: There’s no way home promises much more, gathering other heroes, namely Doctor Strange by Benedict Cumberbatch, and some past villains. With the Multiverse fully exposed, it’s guaranteed to be an enjoyable ride, and fans can’t wait to see if their theories about the movie are indeed correct.
In the one-minute promotional video, Holland reminds fans that they can buy advanced ticket for Spider-Man: There’s no way home on “Spider Monday.” His aim was to create a “phonetic stuff” and rhyme the words “cyber” and “spider”. However, Foxx is not willing to lose that easily, and insists on referring to the date as “Cyber Monday” in honor of his character in the film. After repeating the term, he realized it didn’t work and “didn’t really get the point.”
That’s when both actors decided to stick with “Spider Monday,” only to take the joke further by implying that Sony would be giving away a “75-inch 4K TV” to those who bought tickets on Monday. Obviously not true, so fans shouldn’t get their hopes up. Holland even started joking that the two actors would also get televisions, and Sony is keeping them a surprise.
While the two actors seem to be having a great time promoting their upcoming movie, their characters won’t be as good in the future. Spider-Man: There’s no way home. Foxx’s Electro appears to be part of a group of villains that come to Holland’s world and fight against him. One of the newest TV points for Spider-Man: There’s no way home provides a proper first look at the character, with Electro appreciating the number of possibilities in this new universe.
Electro previously appeared in 2014 Super Spider-Man 2 and fight Andrew Garfield’s version of Spider-Man. When Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock face Holland’s Peter Parker in There is no way home trailer, he seems confused by his true identity. It remains to be seen whether Electro will be surprised by a different version of Spider-Man than the one he’s fought with before, and whether Garfield’s Spidey will appear in the film.
Spider-Man: There’s no way home premieres in theaters on December 17, 2021.
