Japan is about to amend the law on the age of adulthood and the characters of Tokyo Reverger are helping to raise awareness of this coming change.
Starting April 1, 2022, or the beginning of Reiwa 4, Japan will lower the age of majority from 20 to 18. However, there are a few things to keep in mind.

Tokyo Reverger New advertising & collaboration with Japanese government explained
Press release for the collaboration, shared by Online Dengeki, it is explained that 20 years old is the age of majority in Japan since the restoration of the meiji in 1879.
By lowering the age to 18, the government wishes to encourage young Japanese to participate in society and politics. However, the legal age required to drink, smoke and engage in any type of gambling will still be 20 years old.
Furthermore, currently in Japan, men can get married at the age of 18, while women can get married at the age of 16 with parental consent if they are under 18.
The Tokyo Reverger The ad featured the main characters of the series and read “reach the masses and capture your future, fear not”.

Tatsuhisa Suzuki recently lost almost all of his anime and game roles after it was reported that he cheated on his wife, famous singer LiSA.
See the popularity of Tokyo Revenger current manga, especially thanks to the anime adaptation, it is likely that a second season will be announced at some point. Bunshun Online has also reported that a second season is in production, but there is no official confirmation yet.
