Todrick Hall says his friend broke into his home and stole more than $150,000 worth of his luxury goods
Musicians and Youtubers Todrick’s Hall shared more details about the robbery that happened at his home – including who was responsible for it.
Todrick’s Hall there is a message for the people who broke into his house and stole his things in July. According to one of the Todd’s most recent Instagram post, his friend, his friend’s fiancé and a friend of his have splurged over $150,000 on luxury goods. He wouldn’t name the perpetrators, but he did insert surveillance footage of three people surreptitiously climbing a flight of stairs in his home. In the open letter, Todrick stated:
“For those who keep asking. I do NOT know who broke into my house, and it broke my heart. It’s sad if a stranger takes advantage of me, but being a friend and someone I’ve paid so well for almost 8 years has crushed me and honestly made me lose a bit of faith. into humans. I’m not going to put him in the blast and label him for this, but I want him, his fiance and his friends to know that I know what they’ve done. “
Todrick also included a photo of the broken glass window used to enter, along with a walk-in closet his associates ripped through. He noted that the thieves had intentionally placed his cats in the backyard, where a family of coyotes frequented. Despite the terrible crimes they are accused of having committed, Todrick will not be charged against them. He continued:
“They stole over $150,000 worth of my luxury bags, destroyed my floor-to-ceiling windows and worst of all, put my cats in danger because they knew I had a family. Coyote family lives in the backyard. From my kind heart and the respect I have for the relationship we’ve built AGAIN, Todrick will take the high road and not accuse or throw your ass in jail. “
He added:
“I’ve now beefed up my security, had to have a security guard live (which was ridiculous, but you know… I was on tour so it had to be done) and now I know to really believe. no bitch. Not even the people who pat you on the back and tell you how proud they are of you and your success 48 hours before they decide to rob you of your blindness. Stop texting me and act like you don’t know what you did. I never want to see you again.”
Before American Idol contestant mentioned that the theft got him even in trouble. A so called private investigator who charged him $5,000 and never performed any service, suddenly cut off all communication after receiving payment. He alleges that his insurance company, Momentous, was suspected of malfunction and will not cover damages. Todrick claims that – even after presenting valid receipts from the luxury stores where his stolen items were originally purchased – they still won’t believe him. He said that white artists in the same situation have received better treatment from the broker.
“Oh and get this, I hired a “private investigator” who asked me to pay $5,000 upfront and then never followed up and basically fooled me into making it real. fun. What a damn year. Finally, hey Momentous insurance broker, I pay for insurance for a reason. I want my money back ASAP. I know a lot of white artists who have had their stuff stolen and got their money straight away because you “believe them”. This is national news as it happens. I don’t have to beg Louis and Gucci in London to print out my receipts and have my friends pick them up and mail them to me from every luxury store I’ve bought from around the world because you don’t believe them. me and will not accept legitimately verified email receipts. ”
He concluded:
“Anyway, I’m glad it’s Christmas, 2022 will be a better year. To move towards bigger and better things. This is new music, new tour, big moves and BIG locks on all my doors. ”
News of the first robbery came on July 4. Todrick was in London when the incident took place.
