After more than 7 years of operation, Respawn Entertainment has removed the original Titanfall game and pulled it off the shelves of digital stores. The game will no longer be available for purchase and will be removed from game subscription services by March 2022.

However, the studio will not be unplugging the servers and will continue to be online for players looking to jump into the cockpits of their old Titans.

While Titanfall’s history may not be as bright as first-person shooters, there are a number of players who have expressed their disappointment over Respawn’s decision to discontinue the game, rampant hacking, and other problems. Persistent server problems aside. The studio assured fans that the game and the franchise will continue to exist in future games.

“Rest assured, Titanfall is at the core of Respawn’s DNA and this incredible universe will continue.
