Timed research tasks and rewards for Pokemon GO Lush Jungle

Pokemon GO The Alola region has been celebrating all March, and now another event has arrived with the lush jungle that features a timed research for players to complete.

The Lush Jungle event introduces a few more Alola region Pokémon, Fomantis and Lurantis, along with Tapu Lele in raids.

While some of the Pokemon in the event are Grass-types, there are others like Hoothoot and Sudowoodo that fit the jungle theme and will appear more frequently as well.

When is the Lush Jungle Event?

The Lush Jungle event in Pokemon GO begins Tuesday, March 22 at 10:00 a.m. local time and will run for just over a week, ending Tuesday, March 29 at 8:00 p.m.

In addition, there will also be a much shorter weekend event known as the Lush Jungle Weekend Park Spotlight, which will run from Saturday, March 26 at 10:00 a.m. local time through Sunday, March 27 at 8:00 a.m. local time.

At the weekend’s Park Spotlight event, Cottonee will be making more park appearances and will introduce the shiny Cottonee for the first time ever Pokemon GO.

Lush Jungle Timed research tasks and rewards

The Lush Jungle Timed Research consists of four steps, each with three tasks that you must complete.

A majority of the rewards here are encounters with various Grass-type Pokémon, culminating in an encounter with Fomantis, newly added during the event.

Step 1

• Run 1 km – 10x Pokeballs
• Catch 10 Pokemon – 5x Razz Berries
• Use 5 berries to catch Pokemon – 5x pineapple berries
• Rewards – 500 XP, 5x Nanab Berries, Cherrim encounter

step 2

• Run 1 km – 10x Pokeballs
• Catch 5 Grass-type Pokémon – Chikorita encounter
• Use 10 berries to catch the Pokemon – Bellsprout encounter
• Rewards – 1,000 XP, 5x Razz Berries, encounter with Gloom

step 3

• Run 1 km – 10x Pokeballs
• Catch 10 Grass-type Pokémon – Encounter with Foongus
• Use 15 berries to help catch Pokémon – Shroomish encounter
• Rewards – 1,000 XP, 5x Pineapple Berries, Paras encounter

step 4

• Run 1 km – 10x Pokeballs
• Give your buddy 3 treats – Sunkern encounter
• Catch 7 different types of Grass Pokémon – Chespin encounter
• Rewards – 2,000 XP, 1 Mossy Lure Module, Fomantis encounter
