TikTok star Cooper Noriega found dead in mall parking lot after cryptic video

Just hours after he posted a cryptic video on TikTok about the deaths of young people, influencer Cooper Noriega, 19, was found dead in a Los Angeles mall parking lot on Thursday, according to a coroner’s report.

Noriega’s cause of death was not released, and a request for details from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was not immediately answered.

TMZ reported that Noriega, who had nearly 2 million followers on TikTok, was not in a vehicle when his unconscious body was discovered by a passerby Thursday night. According to the report, first responders tried to revive him but were unsuccessful. Third-party debt is not suspected.

In Noriega’s penultimate video, posted Thursday night, he asked his followers, “Who else thinks they died young.”

Noriega has posted daily videos online showing his life in Los Angeles. He’s also had a huge following on Instagram and just last week had a podcast appearance with Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy.

The teenager was expected to turn 20 on June 28, records show.

Comments on Noriega’s TikTox exploded on Friday morning as news of his death spread and grieving fans shared their love for the young star. The same happened to his ex-girlfriend Sabrina Quesada, whose TikTok was also filled with messages of support.

Quesada announced to her 4 million followers in April that she and Noriega were splitting up after dating since October 2020.
