Tiffany Is Collaborating With Pharrell Williams – WWD

Pharrell Williams strode in KenzoThe Fall 2022 show in Paris on Sunday featured diamond-framed and emerald-encrusted almond-shaped sunglasses on each temple, introducing a new design project with Tiffany & Co.

“Me and Tiffany are engaged,” he told WWD, with a big smile.

He said the sunglasses were “the first of many things that I would do with Tiffany.”

When asked about the collaboration, he replied: “No, it’s different. It’s collaboration… It’s about seeing things differently. ”

For more details on the glasses and the partnership, Williams replied: “I can’t give it all away now. I don’t want to go into too much detail, okay, because today we are here to celebrate Nigo, my brother. ”

He is referring to the Japanese street fashion expert who has debut as the new creative director of Kenzo. The show has drawn the likes of Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, Julia Fox, Pusha T, Tyler the Creator and Shygirl to a cold sheltered passage near the Place des Victoires.

Williams is no stranger to jewelry design, partnered with Louis Vuitton in 2008 on a fine jewelry collection based on the jacket. An ambassador of Chanel, the music star also often wears necklaces of that brand.

Tiffany & Co., now owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, has rocked its image with surprising collaborations, like a recent one with the Supreme figure skating brand includes a pearl necklace and a pocket knife shaped like a key.

Alexandre Arnault, Tiffany’s executive vice president, product and communications, also teased the collaboration with Williams on her personal Instagram account.

This tie seems to lie within the tagline of one of the jeweler’s recent campaigns, This is Not Your Mother Tiffany, when LVMH shook hands with the longstanding American company with a team of renowned brand ambassadors – including Beyoncé and Jay-Z, recent Blackpink singer and soloist Rosé, and actresses Tracee Ellis Ross and Anya Taylor-Joy – and the ad has a big impact.
