Thunder’s 73-point loss to the Grizzlies is the NBA’s heaviest defeat ever
Adding to the weirdness of the result was that Memphis played without his best player, point guard Ja Morant (knee). However, the Thunder went to great lengths to make almost every other member of the Grizzlies look like an almighty star. With a steady start to the second quarter, Memphis began to empty his bench, and the Grizzlies’ six subs ended in double digits, as did three of the team’s starters.
