Three teenagers are killed and another injured in a car accident in the Montérégie region of Quebec – Montreal

Three teenagers died in a car accident in the Montérégie region of Quebec on Sunday evening.

Provincial police said the vehicle’s 19-year-old driver and two 18-year-old passengers were killed.

Police say a fourth 16-year-old passenger has been taken to hospital and her life is no longer in danger.

The crash happened just after 7 p.m. in Saint-Robert, about 100 kilometers northeast of Montreal.

According to police, the driver lost control on a bend and the car rolled over several times before veering off the road.

Police say high speed may have played a role in the crash, but investigations are ongoing.
