Three people died after ATV collision outside of Dillon

Three adults died and one was injured after two ATVs collided on Highway 925 outside of Dillon.

Dillon RCMP officials said they set fire to the two ATVs upon reaching the location.

Nurses from the Buffalo River Dene Nation Health Center were on the scene and provided first aid to those involved in the collision.

RCMP searches for stolen Saskatchewan home

A 44-year-old woman, a 21-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, all from the Dillon RCMP Detachment area, have been pronounced dead by local emergency services.

Their families have been notified and victim services have been provided.

An adult woman was taken to hospital in Île-à-la-Crosse, Saskatchewan, because police believe the injuries were not life-threatening.

Shawn Carter, Commander of the Buffalo Narrows RCMP Detachment. “This is a tragic event for our community. Thank you to the nurses at Buffalo River Dene Nation Health Center and the Dillon Fire Department for their support.”

The investigation with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service is ongoing.
