Those With Property Damage From June Tornadoes May Be Eligible For Federal Help – CBS Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS) – If you have suffered property damage from hurricanes that hit the Chicago area last month, you may be eligible for financial assistance from the federal government.

DuPage County was particularly hit by a hard blow Storm EF-3 Sunday night, June 20 – with neighborhoods at Naperville and Woodridge carries the heaviest load. Nearly 200 homes and businesses were destroyed, causing $ 5 million in damage.

The Small Business Administration has approved federal long-term savings recovery loans. They cover damage to homes, other property and economic damage to small businesses.
