This very large and hard to find Transformers toy is back in stock

One of the greatest Transformer toys of all time is making a comeback, and if you missed the first iteration of one of these gigantic Cybertronian guardians, here’s your chance Get Fortress Maximus without having to pay exorbitant aftermarket prices.

Originally released in the Transformers Titans Return action figure line, Fortress Maximus lives up to its name. There is “large” and then there is “large” of the Titan class. We’re not exaggerating when we say that this replica of the living Autobot fortress is about the size of a small child. It measures 23.5 inches, which is larger than the average length of a newborn. However, Fortress Maximus costs much less than a baby.

After the end of the original edition, this figure experienced a significant increase in value thanks to collectors who acquired the entire inventory. Resellers regularly charged double to triple the retail price.

This new edition will be released in March 2024 and will cost $206 Entertainment Earth. In case you’re wondering, it’s not a plastic building block, but a fully movable masterpiece full of little details and fun interactive extras. US buyers can get free shipping with promo code FALLFREE79.

Fortress Maximus’s head can be removed and transformed into Cerebros, which is approximately the same size as a Voyager class Transformer toy. You can then go one step further and remove Cerebros’ head to form Emissary, a thumbnail-sized Transformer. That’s basically three bots in one figure, although two of them will technically be headless.

You can also insert batteries into Cerebros to activate a range of light and sound features on Fortress Maximus. Overall, this oversized Transformer is an impressive centerpiece to any collection. That is, if you have the space for it.
