Pokemon Legend: Arceus may have received rave reviews from critics as well as fans, but the removal of Pokemon breeding has disappointed many players.
Breeding has been an available feature in many of the main Pokemon games throughout the years, but Pokemon Legend: Arceus decided to take a slightly different approach to how players get Pokemon. Here is the possible reason why Arceus there is no hybrid feature and the developers have replaced it with any mechanism.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus Ditches Popular Breeding Mechanics
Although an official reason is why there is no breeding in Pokemon Legend: Arceus has not yet been revealed by the developers. Emily Morrow from Dot Esports hypothesized that one of the reasons could be due to in-game lore.
Unlike many other mainline Pokemon games, Pokemon Legend: Arceus set deep in the past in a region known as Hisui. Therefore, it is possible that crossbreeding between Pokemon is not available because people simply haven’t learned about this possibility.
Fans are certainly disappointed by this feature’s disappearance, but there are some other new mechanics for players to learn from in lieu of hybridization. Pokemon Legend: Arceus allows players to sneak behind Pokemon to catch them, along with new crafting, dodging, and more.
