This is the first Hearthstone card in 2022
One of the best things about Hearthstone is the ability to earn cosmetics just by playing the game.
This month, players can earn their first new card since 2022 by winning five ranked games before January ends.
If you play a significant number of ratings Hearthstoneyou probably know about the ranked card back reward system. Each month, you have the option of trying to win at least five ranked matches to unlock a new card the following month.
To unlock the Take the Cake back card seen above, you’ll need to win five ranked games throughout January. Then, starting February when the season resets, the return card will be added to your collection. If you spam, click your notification when it opens Hearthstoneyou probably already have a few card backs that you don’t even know about.
If you’d like to take a closer look at this month’s cards, you can do so by going to your in-game collection. Navigate to the back tab of the card and then search for “get cake”. You’ll see a grayscale version of the card back, but clicking it will show you fullscreen and all its vibrant colors.
Again, all you need to do to earn this card back is win five ranked games throughout January. After doing so, you’ll be able to use your new card again from next month.
