Spider-Man fans celebrated the Beloved sequel Spider-Man: Into the Spider-question, is the latest installment, which exploded the internet. But some keen-eyed animation fans are also buzzing about some sort of easter egg in the already dizzying series of crossovers seen at first glance.

Spider-Man Crosses Spider-Man's Verse

The first movie to use a bunch of different Spideys from around the multiverse, including Gwen, as well as an adult (and rather dependent on his luck) Peter Parker, Spider-Man; Noir, and of course, The Amazing Spider-Ham. More characters were slated to appear in the sequel. But the new trailer introduces Easter Eggs that allude to an entirely different kind of hero.

As the trailer opens, with Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Gwen visiting ground-based Miles Morales at his parents’ apartment, viewers get a glimpse of some of Miles’ childhood bedroom , most of which are filled with his old toys. In a flash and you miss the moment, one of them is revealed to be a wooden moose. Although references may be lost on some, the toy will be instantly recognizable to fans of other projects from Spider fishing Project by director Phil Lord and Christopher Millers, Netflix The Mitchells vs. The Machines.


The elk toy, belonging to the Mitchells protagonist Katie Mitchell is a clear appeal to the old Lord and Millers work. The Mitchells vs. The Machines, like Spider fishing title, a project by Sony Pictures but was not released in theaters in 2020 as planned due to the Covid Pandemic. The movie rights were later bought by Netflix and became a surprise hit for the streaming service when it was finally released in April of this year.

In spite of The Mitchells vs. The Machines created a pretty intense fandom. But given the Lord and Millers’ ability to think outside the box, there’s always a possibility, no matter how slim, that at least one other Easter Egg is hatched.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) will hit theaters in October 2022.
