Since the first time The world is over for you Released for the Nintendo DS in 2008, its fans have been praying non-stop for an eventual sequel, despite it being a relatively niche title. The odds of the sequel have improved as it re-released for Nintendo Switch in 2018, including a new epilogue with a rather blatant sequel. Cuts through November 2020 and Neo: The world ends for you, an authentic sequel, has been announced.

While all three games performed well, both critically and financially, none of them outperformed last year’s releases, inclusive. Marvel’s Avengers and Final Fantasy 7 remake.
Although this doesn’t rule out Square Enix going on with it at all The world is over for you, fans may be concerned that the sequel’s underperformance has affected their chances of getting the sequel sooner.
