“As an organization working towards our next title, we believe that Otto – who understands what it takes to become an NBA champion – will be a great addition to the Raptors. He proved himself at the highest level in our game,” said Bobby Webster, Toronto general manager. “He’s a versatile defender and top-class marksman who fits in well with our team both on and off the pitch.”

The St. Louis native Porter has played nine seasons in the NBA after being picked third overall by Washington in the 2013 draft.

He has averaged 10.6 points and 5.1 rebounds in his career.
