The thing you hated from The Witcher Netflix show comes into play

The wrinkled, disgusting Niflheim armor from The Witcher Netflix show comes as part of the next-gen upgrade to The Witcher 3. This is available December 15th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.

For those who don’t know, the kingdom of Niflheim was forgotten when its strange and visually repulsive armor was featured on the TV show. As part of this major update, which is free to all existing The Witcher 3 owners, several Netflix show-themed cosmetics and missions are coming into play.

The update also includes revised performance, visual upgrades, a photo mode, and general bug fixes and optimizations for newer hardware. It also adds a number of fan favorite mods that have proved popular with the community.

CD Projekt Red, as you can imagine, has been very careful about spoiling the new quest coming to The Witcher 3 with this update. This quest linked to the Netflix show is brand new and tempting to think about. But whatever it is, we’ll be able to tackle it with new gear and an alternate costume for Delphinium. Kind!

Another reason to jump back in and play The Witcher 3 is neat! With many new projects announced by CD Projekt Red, including the next game in The Witcher universe as well as a remake of The Witcher 1, it looks like this will be one last hurray for the end of Geralt’s trilogy.
