‘The Swank Hotel,’ by Lucy Corin book review

This previous summer time, Corin’s brother-in-law, a Berlin-based artist named Sebastian Meissner, printed a letter on Medium deriding Corin’s fictionalized tackle her sister Emily Hochman’s sickness. Meissner claims that the e-book “breaches a number of moral boundaries” and calls Corin out for “appropriation” of her sister’s story. He states, “When writing a e-book equivalent to ‘The Swank Resort’ it’s of crucial significance to work with the protagonists in tandem, on equal footing, and permit such people to symbolize themselves in a means that’s comfy and secure.”
