One of the best things about The Sims 4 how much fun recreating buildings and characters from life and fiction and the variety of tools the game has to do that. That’s what one player did when they recreated the iconic Paddy’s Pub building from It’s always sunny in Philadelphia. VIDEO GAME OF THE DAY

Released in 2014 by EA, The Sims 4 is one of the most famous life simulation games in history, allowing the player to control human characters known as Sims. A core feature of The Sims 4 is a versatile construction tool that allows players to design and decorate buildings with great detail. For years, this has fueled creativity in players, who have used the tools to recreate real-life locations and scenes from their favorite shows. For example, last year, a Red Dead Redemption 2 fans have recreated Rhodes’ Parlour House, a memorable piece of architecture found in Lemoyne. In September, Pokemon fans recreated places of interest from the original game in The Sims 4, including Pallet Town and Professor Oak’s Pokémon Lab.

The Sims 4 the build was created by player Emmengard, who claims that it does not use custom content. The pub is complete with neon signs, tassels hanging from the ceiling and an eclectic mix of paintings and decorations lining the walls. The exterior of the building has also been faithfully recreated to match the building used in the exhibit, based on the Starkman Building in Los Angeles. Emmengard went the extra mile and also recreated the main apartments that appeared on the show. Charlie’s apartment looks busier than ever, with some lanterns added to make the room look more cluttered in real Sims style. The Mac’s bedroom is instantly recognizable with its attention to detail; Wood paneling and near-identical standing lights are great combinations.
