The Quarry is Supermassive’s new Until Dawn style horror game

Until dawn developer Supermassive Games has revealed its next project, Quarry, on Thursday, a horror game for teenagers starring a group of Hollywood actors. 2K Games is publishing Quarry this summer.

Quarry imagines a summer camp experience horribly wrong, where the Hackett’s Quarry’s nine playable youth counselors find themselves hunted by sinister locals and a dead predator people. Participation Quarry is David Arquette (Screaming), Ariel Winter (Modern family), Justice Smith (Pokémon Detective Pikachu), Brenda Song (Doll face), Lance Henriksen (Alien), and Lin Shaye (Insidious).

Here’s a look at the full cast of Quarry:

Quarry Looks fun and the large amount of playable characters is fascinating. Like Supermassive’s other series, The Dark Pictures Anthology, there is a co-op mode, Quarry will allow players to invite up to seven friends to their game. The team can ask each player to control an advisor or vote together on all major decisions.

Mentors will have a variety of relationships, friendships and courtships, and it will be up to the player to decide who dies, who lives, who betrays whom and who gets together. There will also be adjustable difficulty settings for all game elements, including a Movie Mode, where you can watch the horror happen instead of playing. Players can fight recklessly to keep their chosen protagonist alive, or lean back and freely choose their fate.

Quarry slated for release on June 10 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The Quarry is Supermassive’s new Until Dawn style horror game
