The plumber at Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church found 500 envelopes of cash, checks in the toilet wall
Back in 2014, Lakewood Church, led by Osteen and his wife Victoria, reported to police the loss of more than $600,000 in a burglary. The maintainer’s discovery was confirmed by Lakewood Church with Houston KPRC-TV, who first reported the story, though police have yet to confirm whether the money found is the same as the one stolen years ago.
